Overlooking the village of Old Costessey, Snakeshill is a woodland trust wood which is 15.64 acres in size.
The woods is a prominent feature of the local landscape and have a variety of trees, oak, hornbeam, wild cherry, chestnut, beech and sycamore. This wood is also full of bluebells, the path network is a circular route but you can join Queen Hill Country Park which the River Tud flow through as we are in the Tud valley.
